Creative Drawing - You Can Do It!
Learn to draw with lessons by long-time art instructor, Anne Underwood Arnold. Based upon her long experience in teaching art, Anne has written a course of drawing lessons.
The program is divided into packets containing six weeks of drawing lessons. You can learn to draw by studying the lessons and practicing for at least 30 minutes a day.
Beginning with very simple basic drawings of simple everyday items, there will be an emphasis to study each week, with an expanded way to do it each day.
Drawing can be therapeutic. Art therapy is known to help relieve depression, take your mind off of pains and get you out of the doldrums, and help you deal with stress. Creative drawing can lead you into cartooning, computer graphics, architecture, advertising design, to name just a few.
You must take at least six weeks because:
1) This will give you the HABIT of drawing each day; and
2) It will generally take six weeks for a student to know he or she is learning and loving this.
Over time the lessons will help students with any and all subjects, adding color, correct proportion, perspective, the whole enchilada.
This is a year long program into basic drawing. Eight packets of six weeks of instruction containing suggested subjects and how-to's for each day. At the end of the 48 weeks there is a packet of four weeks.
After the first packet there is no obligation to go into the other packets that stem from the first.
However, Anne is sure, once a student is into the program, he or she will love it and see marked improvement in understanding and confidence.
Last but certainly not least, with this teacher there is emphasis and encouragement constantly to be imaginative and creative.
