Creative Drawing - You Can Do It! Instruction by Anne Underwood Arnold
Anne Underwood Arnold has been drawing images since she was around five years old. She remembers when she drew a tree and a person alike - they looked like a | with a circle on top. One day she decided a person should be /\ with a circle on top. Many drawings later both tree and person look quite different!
Anne paints in all popular media - watercolor, oils, pastels, and acrylics - paintings are taken from her drawings. She sketches in pencil. Drawings are in pencil, pen and ink. Paintings and drawings are owned by people in Canada, the Bahamas, Europe, South Korea, as well as throughout the Eastern United States.
Holder of a Bachelor of Arts Degree with Major in Painting, she earned a Certificate to teach art while living in Georgia, US. Also holder of a Certificate of Accomplishment in Interior Design and with years of experience in the art of picture framing, as well as restoring old paintings to original beauty. She has travelled widely and been privileged to study the great old masters in museums of Italy, France, England, Japan, and South Korea. Living now in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, she never misses a chance to view and study special exhibits in the museums of Washington and New York.
Anne has taught art and art history at all levels and to all ages, both privately and publicly, for over 30 years.
